Arrow haha my interior got wet

Anyone in dallas remember that rain yesterday evening? I happened to have my sunroof up during most of it. The seats were fine (vinyl) but I'm worried about the carpet, of course. The carpet from the front seats back is all damp. Should i take a shop vac to it, or just let it air out in the sun today?

Got my front carpet wet a while back because I left a window down and it rained really hard in just the right direction. I pulled carpet up and wedged something under it and had to run a fan to get it dry. It took two days in my basement which has a dehumidifier to fully dry it.

Vacuum the s**t out of it. wait an hour and do it again. Water will be running from under you DME computer (under the right pax seat) for a day as it is. That water will corrode and rust that very $$$$ expensive computer if you don't. I treat a wet carpet as a minor emergency.

Don't fool around with this.

crap.
i let it dry today and everything seemed ok. I guess i'll go check on how wet it feels under the passenger seat, but it really wasn't all that moist, even earlier today.
thanks for the heads up.

edit: just checked under and behind the passenger seat, and the only thing even partially damp is the floormat, but i think i'm just imagining that. Maybe i over-reacted, but it just doesn't seem to have gotten that wet
