paint exterior engine parts

Would high heat epoxy work for painting engine parts, if so does it last a long time?

i painted the the lettering on the head, been about 2 months and no sign of wear

ceramic engine block paint, its in a rattle can, but its also the best spray paint ive ever used... cant recall who makes it but you can pick it up in a ton of colors at basicly anywhere you buy car stuff (ie. autozone, pepboys, etc.)

i have actually used the black to paint exterior parts on my old motorcycle and you couldnt tell that it came from a can, also its very glossy, and almost bullet proof
