Im leaking coolant

Im leaking coolant. Ive been leaking it. Every couple of days i keep refilling my expansion tank with water, but recently it seems to be leaking a bit more than usual. Some days its ok, others its bone dry. Is this an easy fix? I dont want to go back to my mechanic so he can charge me tons of money and probably not fix anything. I was thinking of just buying an new expansion tank, but maybe some hoses need to be replaced. Thanks.

you have to look to see where it's leaking after it's been up to operating temp.

check hoses, clamps, cap.

In all seriousness, has the car been running hot? Pressurizing its cooling system?

Could be a hose, could be the water pump.
