Joe Toth NA Splitter Group Buy
Hey Guys,
I have been talking with Joe Toth and he is willing to make a splitter the 944 NA community if there is enough interest. The splitter will look like the one he already makes for the 944 turbo. If we get 15 orders together Joe will make the first run of them. For the first run and Group Buy Joe said he will drop the price to $250.00 Each PLUS shipping. After the first run/Group Buy they will regularly be priced $300.00 each plus shipping. In order for Joe to start the first run we will need a $125 deposit on each splitter. I for one am very excited and hope enough other people will be as well so we can finally have a real nice quality splitter for the 944 NA enthusiast. Please Pm me with any questions or concerns. Thanks Jeff |

I'm in for one! Assume the deposit is due after we get 15 customers?

Yes you are correct. Deposits only after 15 interested people. I will not start and it won't happen unless the minimum 15 for the group buy is met.

I have seen pictures of the Turbo/S2 one on a different site, and really like the fact that it has a plate covering the bottom of the lower valance all the way up to the rad support. (like the "batwing") If the NA one will be like this also, and it can smooth out airflow in that area, I am also interested. Since Joe seems to live about an hour away from my house, I could easily pick it up.

Yes the plan is to have it similar to the turbo piece with the underneath covered back to the start of the wheels.

New member here. Been lurking around the forums for a few weeks, and finally decided that this needed to be my first post.
I'm definitely in for a splitter! |

It is made of fiberglass with a black gelcoat finish. Will attach to the bottom of the bumper with fasteners. Shipping costs around 50 west coast to 90 fo Florida. Because of the size of the splitters they are charge by dimensional weight as opposed to actual weight. I can ship two for the same shipping cost. Will combine orders. Most of the GT3 folks buy two at a time as these are consumable parts if you track a lot so it lowers the shipping cost a bit when it is time for a replacement.

Hey guys, I'd like to say I'm pretty interested, but have a few questions first.
Would the splitter replace the valence thing which is under the front bumper? Would it be universal for all NA 944's? Or just of certain years? Please count me as interested but not decided yet. |

It is going to look very similar to the turbo piece. I can't take pictures of a part which is not yet made. The splitter portion will look like the pics above the tray portion may change to fit the bottom side of the car.

OK Guys,
Here we go with the second step of this project. I need the deposits from the folks who said they wanted a splitter or two. My Paypal account is tei@telus.net. The sooner I receive all the deposits the sooner I will start working on the mold. If all the deposits are not received in a timely fashion I will return the deposits and the project will be halted. For those folks who have not yet commited to a splitter. I will maintain the introductory price of $250until the mold is completed and parts are ready to be produced. A deposit will still be required to receive introductory price. Once the mold is completed and ready to produce parts the price will be $300.00. I will keep you all informed of the progress of the project and post pictures where possible. Any other question email or PM me. Thanks guys. |
