Does this work? Im getting ahold of an 83 944 tomorrow its got a pretty trashed interior. Anyone know if it fits/bolts right up?

I've heard that the firewall is changed, since the HVAC was revamped with the interior. Not entirely sure, thought, as I have no experience with late cars.

no it doesnt work... different all together. This has come up before, it would tak a lot of work to make it fit. Better off fixing what you have.

Actually, I believe somebody over on 924board.org was working on this, perhaps finished it a while back. Lots has to change. I believe windshield has to be updated as well

if you're desperate, a dash cap perhaps? I have one in mine.. and when installed correctly, it covers up many unsightly cracks and anything else..

im not too sure what i will do, but i will make the original dash work. basically im buying this car, and am going to spend the next few years doing a full restore/build up, maybe going as far as a 951 engine... but thats another thread that will pop up in a few days.
