AC compressor sheared

So i was on my way back to school from pittsburgh to daytona beach and 80 miles out of daytona the bracket near the top of the a/c compressor decided to shear. My battery light came on, and soon my lights dimmed and the motor started to stutter. I pulled into a gas station and examined the damage. Since the alternator and a/c are driven off the same belt, and the compressor wasnt securly fastened there was not enough tension on the belt to drive to alternator.

After about 2 hours of tinkering, and a trip to walmart i was able to create a makshift tensioning system with some bungee cables and arrived in daytona at 4 am last night.

If anyone on the board has a spare compressor laying around that they would be willing to part with please PM me or post.

PS - I still love her
