Removing windshield
 

SO I have a crack on my 951 but my na has a good windshield. I've looked at clarks garage an in the haynes book with no info. basically all I want to do is remove it from my na an give that to the windshield guy to install. Any tips or suggestions. Thanks. brianc

You're time will be better spent either letting the windshield guy take it out or buying a new one for the 951. Without the proper tools, it's a tedious task.......plus, if you break it, you still need to pay the cash for a new windshield. If he breaks it, it's on him...maybe.

Speaking from experience in auto collision repair.

Yeah, that's basically want the haynes book said. I kinda forgot that these guys do house calls, since the guy down the street doesn't; just got that stuck in the head for a bit. Yeah, let the glass guy do it.
