Front Damaged - Need Help Finding Part
 

My mother-in-law backed her mini van into my 944 last week. The front is smashed up pretty good.

I took it to a body shop that I use for all my cars this morning and we talked about the game plan. Everything is either repairable with new/used bolt on parts except for one item.

Its the brace that holds the pop-up light in place towards the center. It looks like it is welded to the frame. I don't have my PET here but in looks like it is part of the lock carrier (part number 944 501 933 00).

Does anyone know the part i'm talking about and if I can get them as separate pieces. Or do I need to get a whole new lock carrier?

bring a saw out and you can have one....i am in north jersey

sure, you can also drill the spot welds out and it will come off...i can drill them and get that part ,it may take me some time for me to get to it.

i have the front clip from a late 944, and a roller too.

Where are you located maybe I could come out and do it.
