not much. probably has a salvage title.

the rocker panel didn't take much of a hit but there could be hidden damage.

door, rear 1/4, paint may get it on the road.

my 944S was hit hard on the door/lf fender and it was totaled/salvage title and i got it in the settlement.

is this at a wrecking yard or a private party?
if it's the person who owns/crashed it and they had insurance, they got their money out of it offer $200.

does it have current plates/reg/inspection?

after the settlement on my crashed 944S i got a letter from the county telling me to bring the title in for conversion to a salvage title.

the vehicle couldn't be licensed until it was repaired/certified as roadworthy.
not sure how they do it in your state.

a race car is a different story.

There are so so many 924S's out there, that unless you are skilled at body work, or are stubborn enough to learn how, pass. It looks like the front quarter is dented as well. It will probably cost you more then its worth to fix it. Bent cars make poor race cars as well. There is way too much that could be broken and hidden deep like suspension and transmission parts. Buy one that isn't bent, thats my opinion. Buy mine, I might sell it cheap too!

I have the identical car. Does it have front and rear sway bars? If so, what size are they? (The rear bar is probably 14mm if it is factory.) Also, is the steering wheel factory? If not, can I see a picture? Does it have a blank hole plug that replaced the factory front/rear fader control on the console? I'm considering other parts also, but let's start with these.

See, if you part it out you could make your money back pretty quickly. I simply don't have room for a part out vehicle or I would consider looking for one myself. Don't forget eBay.

not it s a insurance auction, there isnt that many p - cars around here so cheap ones to make race cars are hard to find ,

keep looking, that car looks like a nice candidate to part out if you have the room and time. i wouldnt pay more than $400. much less if the engine doesnt run.

Parts car.

Go get a complete, but ratty driver for a race car project. You will want to start with a straight tub.
