Newbie help - Finding dash grounds
I'm a complete electrial n00b. But making progress..However, I can't seem to locate the dash grounds. Can someone give me a bit of guidance? That'd rule...
Oh yea, Wireless internet and a laptop in the garage, right next to the car, is awesome. Thanks! |
No one has given an answer yet?
Well, I'm more used to the early cars, but, I do believe the dash (fuse/relay block) grounds are in the same location as the earlies......basically. They look like spade trees (oh no....that was the onion trees.....hehe) located just under the dashboard..........directly under where your relay-fuse box is located in the engine compartment. You might even gain easier access to them by first removing that same relay-fuse box. Its much easier than working on the early cars..........I'm sure. I, like others, have removed my drivers seat, to gain "some" semblance of comfortable access under the dash to get to them. What makes you "want" to go after these anyway? Just.....general principals? |
Or maybe......I misunderstood, and your after the points on the back of gauge cluster?
|
Thanks man. I saw people referencing that location, but wasn't sure how to get to them. I suppose I'll take the fuse box off to make it easier.
I'm chasing electrial gremlins, basically. Thanks again. |

Thanks for the pic. Mine are hidden behind a some crappy alarm install. Managed to get to them though.
