faulty dme relay
 
I've seen a couple of things written that dme relays in 944s2's are prone to fail.What are the symptoms of a faulty dme?

car will not start - only real symptom

ditto. keep a new one in the glove at all times just in case

What about when driving the motor - would a faulty one cause rough running?

no. the engine simply won't run
