Auxillary Fuse Panel? Hmm...

So Anyway.......

My sunroof stopped working today. (I hear this is an extremely rare problem)

So in the process of figuring out what is wrong, I located the sunroof motor. As per the diagrams at clarks-garage, It appears I have the "early" sunroof motor. No problem.

(PS, I just got this car, and Don't know much about it)

As per the troubleshooting information, I went to check the "auxillary fuse panel". Now, for the life of me, I can't find this thing!

Of course, I soon realize, I do not have such a panel. I only have the big panel under the hood.

Now I thought that since I had the "early" sunroof motor, I would have the "early" fuse boxes. Is something odd here, or is this common?

I would think the only fuse panel would be the right one... Although I'm pretty sure there are relays on a little panel right behind the sunroof motor itself. Dunno about any fuses tho.

Not really odd, poor timing with the major changes done in later version cars, but it is the norm. The car went thru most of the "major" changes starting with the 85/2 cars. The sunroof changes just didn't come into being till part way into '86. (Feb. of '86, IIRC). Its just one more of those "little" things we've got, that keeps us on our toes..........huh?
