Cat Back Replacement Question

Looking at swapping out the abortion that is my cat back..

Looking at the PET, i notice a sealing ring between the catalyzer and the exhaust pipe.

Part # 94411120300

Does this need to get replaced when I do the exhaust or do i just reuse what I have?

I just reused mine. It's a hard ring - I had to chunk it out with a screwdriver, but it popped out in one piece and fit right on the SFR system.

They do get old (and possibly corroded) over time and don't seal as well. Replace if corroded. Keep if not.

I reused the old one when i changed the cat-back on my car. It had a sizeable chunk missing out of the side. I would buy a replacement if yours leaks (which it probably will i think).

Getting those bolts loose for the catback flange were a *****...i broke all 3 off intentionally because the bolts were so badly corroded to the studs.

I had a shop drop the exhaust to fix some stuff on the tranny and drop the torque tube about 2 weeks before I pulled off the exhaust on mine... it came off easy!

Oh, I also was using a lift and air tools at the Dodge dealer in town :D

Lucky, i was to lazy to bring the car to my fathers shop. I ended up getting the rear on ramps and using alot of brute force with open ended wrenches. I was surpised how heavy that stock exhaust was compared to the SFR unit. I had trouble supporting that exhaust with both hands, putting in the SFR with one hand as support was a breeze however.

Thanks guys. $6 piece from pelican. Thing I'll spend the couple of bucks (why stop now?).
