Petitioning Discovery, RE: Top Gear

I am joining Wayne Dempsey and many others petitioning Discovery to bring back TOP GEAR, which, alas, has been discontinued.

What!? No wonder I haven't had any "new" episodes on my DVR....grr, left some feedback.

The comment I got contradicts the one Wayne got:

So it isn't gone for good after all, apparently.

It does seem like they talk about dollars (not euros/pounds), and seem to have an american audience.

I wonder if they retape certain parts to be more "american"?? Maybe that's why it takes so long to come out.

the BBC dosent run topgear year round, they have a spring season and a fall season, which is being filmed during the off time. This upcoming fall seasonw which starts in nov i believe, will run a 6 episode season due in part to jeremy slipping a disk in his back, and not being able to do all the driving that the show requires.

The chris: They do infact revamp the show to be more american, the original version is great, where as the discovery channel version is really isnt as appealing. I have most of the topgear episodes, so if someone has a host, i'll upload them for people to have access too, or you can google viperbond top gear and you will get a site that lets you DL a few.
