1984 944 Mesh gold wheels

I have been looking all over and i cant figure out what type of rims i have on my 944, i recently bought the car at 70,000 miles and i havnt found a set of rims like mine anywhere, i think i have seen black ones but i am not sure. They are a mesh 5 lug gold/bronze 2 piece wheel. here is a picture of one rear tire
http://www.digitaluprising.net/Waffles/DSCN4847.JPG

i beleive towards the bottom on the inner piece between two of the allen blots it says JWL, and they have the Porsche Stuttgart caps. I am looking to sell these rims and want to figure out how much i should ask, i have heard they can sell fairly well, but i havnt found any proof.

They are Japanese, probably Enkei. I have four of them too.

Value? Whatever anyone wants to pay for them.

I LOVE those rims. Very "period correct" for an early 944. Too bad they couldn't fit my car's offset

Do those wheels have one central nut? Or are my eyes deceiving me?

Deception....That is a cover plate that hides the lug nuts. The cap is hex in shape but not a center lock.

Thanks for informing me of my new prosche 944 , I just bought it two weeks ago and it whet directly to the auto repair shop. I have never even see the tires off the car. Can Anyone provide some Mods for a standard 2.5L non-turbo eng. looking for more Power.
Thanks

play nice, CJ lol

dont worry porsche944s2 - he doesn't bite... he growls a little, but he's harmless...
there are no practical mods for the standard 2.5L... i'm afraid unless you're made of money - and i mean MADE of it - you're stuck with the power you've got (or dont have?).

Not realy a lot you can do. You can get a little better driving engine, but in terms of maxx power, there isn't much. My old '85 had a Borla exaust and KN intake, I liked the low end on that car a lot. Pulling out of idle was no problem. Could take off fairly quickly from 2,000RPM, rarely started it any higher then that enless I needed to get moving on an uphill start. Car was fairly happy through the revs. http://www.tervurendog.com/car/944/944accel.wav Transmission had somewhere upwards of 200K miles, so wasn't the easiest to shift, but was a very fun car.

The standard 944 has most of what it can pulled out of the engine already. Its a 25 or so year old engine design. With the Turbo, you have a lot more options.

I didn't get a 944 NA for outright power, but love its crisp driving. Its a very enjoyable car. I love every drive I've taken in a 944 since someone let me driver theirs in a parking lot at 14.
