Anyone help me with a value from Porsche Market Newsletter or personal experience. 1989 944. Car is nice, well kept, no issues. 5 speed. 70K miles. Interior is very good. Driven not daily but regularly 5-6 times per month. Owned by an older guy with about 8 different sports cars he rotates daily. Some service records but not all. He's a bit scatter brained.
Many thanks, Andrew |

Don't know melange, but I've heard $5k is for a good to excellent 944 NA.
Mileage looks good, if the seats and dash are good, thats a big plus. If the engine has had regular belt and fluid changes, another plus. Tack on extra, the '89 NA is rarer and has a slightly bigger engine. I'd pay maybe $6-7k if I was in the market for it, it was as good as it sounds, and had the $. Ask him what he thinks it's worth, offer a little less if he wants around 6 or 7, and see what you get. My 2 cents... |

I will second the $6,000-$7,000 range if it's excellent and does not need a clutch or belts.

Thanks for the input. I'm hoping it can be had for closer to $5K. I think the 89 955 has a 3.4 liter?

S2 is 3.0. Could it be an S2? If you want the value of that, maybe add $1k on top of the 6 to 7.

Sadly it's not an S2. I bought an Audi Coupe Quattro from the same guy a few years ago, used it for a ski car, then sold if for even money. He has nice stuff and usually is pretty fair with his price. We'll see.....
I'll post some images if it happens. |
