Help me I.D. this Huntley Racing piggyback.
Can someone on here please help me identify this piggy back setup, and the original manufacturer (since Huntley racing is gone). This computer came with a supercharger kit from them. I believe the small box is a MAP sensor, and the larger is either an older Split-Sec, or Link. I showed some other pictures to a tech at Split-Sec and he couldn't identify the boxes as theres, but he sounded rather young and may not have worked there when these were built. The chassis they are in is rectangular aluminum tubing filled with a potting compound of somesort (not the easiest to pull apart).
It was late when I made the pic, and I switched the 'box-a' and 'box-b' designation in the "connections in harness" table. ![]() Thanks in advance, Dan

I havent seen anything like that yet from Huntley, Im running there stage 2 MAF kit, there ARC1 and the ARM1. Neather look like that. I know a little before Huntley went out of business they developed a bunch of stand alone stuff and I know they did make some stuff for there supercharger kits put I never saw any pics. Box A does look like a custom Map sensor but Im not sure. Who did you get this stuff from??? Any part #. It is possable that those arent even huntley Racing they did sell alot of stickers infact I have a sheet. Anyway good luck on your search, I have been uable to find anything about Huntley once they closed all was lost

On the back end of the larger box, there's '2-09' in Sharpie, but no other ID tag. On the MAP sensor, theres no ID. My speculation is that these were purchased either from Split-Sec, or Link and removed from the original chassis, changed connectors, and put into this aluminum tubing and epoxied in. As for why, I have no idea.
These are part of a used Huntley supercharger kit that I bought.

Okay, it is possable that Huntley made there own piggy back stuff, cus at the time of there supercharger I dont think splic second had anything crazy like that and link wasnt around yet, and Huntley usually would just keep the original case and paint there name on it, not recase the whole thing. So it could be a all Huntley custom setup. Huntley had some great stuff and I was and still am totally missing them I followed every move they made.
So we do know that it is for there supercharger kit and we are approx 90% sure that one is a map sensor ( I do know in the add for the supercharger they did say it was a map setup) SO the real question is do you have any type of instructions?? Does it look like any of the Porsche wirering plugs into the MAP or piggy back unit?? Did it come with any type of wiring harness?? I totally want to solve this it is now a mission. What pisses me off the most is about 2 years ago I was given the E-mail address of the original owner who was still answerig questions about products. But since then I have been threw 2 PC's and lost everything. I will keep searching for u

Okay I spend some time searching the web, I did find that Huntley did include 1- a Map sensor and 2 a electronic (piggy back) unit that plugs into the DME and the Map sensor, allowing the DME to understand the MAP sensor. Those are the 2 items you have. I will keep searching for more info for u

Wow, thanks for digging up the info. The harness I have makes the connections shown in the pic. It has an 18 pin connector at one end, and an 8 pin at the other. The MAP does connect to the 8pin, and the piggyback to the 18pin. There is also a 6pin connector on the piggyback presumably for connecting to the DME, or to a Tuner.
The sad part is there is no instructions and the previous owner doesn't know much about it other than he had Huntley install everything. Do you have a link to the info that you found? Thanks, Dan

The unit you have is not programable its totaly plug and play. I searched all the Pelican and Rennlist forums for as much info as I could find using "Huntley Racing" in the search box. I aslo checked out a bunch on random pics on the internet. I will have to go and find the saite that talked about the piggy back unit, It was a very breef discription but it is the only way huntley could control fuel for the supercharger and run a MAP. Also found out that the stage 3 supercharger put out 100HP. Anyway give me a little time and I will post the links, After doing all the reading and searching I need to get my eyes away from the PC before they fall out, I will post later

I know before he closed up shop he had a white S2 cab that was supercharged - its was for sale for awhile. Me thinks that is the engine bay shot - Derrek's actual S2 cab.

Hey you should check out http://www.splitsec.com/ Even if you can use the piggy back unit, split second makes alot of tuner stuff, Alot of the SC toyota Tacoma guys run there stuff. IF not then let me know cus I would love to buy it. The SC setup is the hardest part, you can do some 951 injectors and a latop top tuned timming and fuel controler and be really happy. Anyway let me know

I've checked split sec out, and even called them thinking they were the original Mfg. of the computer, but they said nope. I will only run a piggyback that is PC tunable, and I've heard good things about split sec's stuff. If I decide to sell it, I'll let you know.
