What parts are you looking for? New or used?
For new parts, that should be pretty easy with all the places...but the prices on a soldier's pay...different problem. For used parts, there is a place to post used parts on here I think and for other parts try car-part.com . That is a link to all the wrecking yards from coast to coast and you can even post a request for parts for the places that are not online. And of course, everyone knows to check ebay. Let us know what you need specifically so we can help you.

Virtually every Porsche part is still available except for some trim parts.
What do you need? There are several parts sellers with web sites (like Pelican for instance) who have diagrams and part numbers. I've yet to find any part that keeps the car running unavailable. By the way, if the car is a 1985, then it's 924 rest of world as the 924S was not introduced until 1986 model year (first manufactured in after October 1985) . Maybe using the 924 rather than 924S is causing the problem. In the rest of the world 924 models (with the VW/Audi engine) were still sold. If you are telling the parts sellers it's a 924 1985, they might not be able to find exactly what you need. Give the board more information, like where you or the car actually is, what it is and what parts you need. Plenty of people will help.
