anti theft

Hey everyone, I have an 84 944. The anti theft alarm has gone off for no apparent reason, once about a year ago then a few months ago and finally yesterday. Is there a way to simply disconnect the system???? I looked in the fuse listings and found it was not listed. I have a Haynes repair manual but that makes not mention of the system at all. I never use the thing and I just play with the key and doors until it eventually stops. Any help would be GREAT!

Go to page #6 on the forum and click on "What is this part??(pics)"
Then, scroll down to livewirevoodoo (member). He sent me the instructions on how to BYPASS the alarm system. Prior to that, my 944 would not start up. When I bypassed it, the car started right up.
And yes, my alarm was going off prematurely by itself.
