Any Rover guys?

My brother is selling his 1990 Range Rover. I built the engine in it for him with a friend who owns a Rover specific shop. If any one is interested PM me, or call him at the number listed in the write up.
Oh, yeah. Porsche content. RRovers are much better offroad than Cayannes!

Vehicle Description
You are bidding on an awesome Rover that has been mechanically upgraded with the very best engine and components available. It is a joy to drive. It is easily the most powerful Rangie that I have ever driven. Other experienced Rover owners are jealous when they push the gas down on this awesome machine! I am the second owner and have owned this Rover for eight years. It has been meticulously maintaind by a private Rover specialist the entire time. Records available for this period. Before that time it was maintained at a Land Rover dealership.

I would not be selling this Rover if I didn't get a 1998 Discovery this year and a 1964 Lincoln Continental that I am currently restoring. Too many toys.

Take a look at what has gone into this amazing vehicle:

-RPI 3.9 performance short block

-RPI performance cam

-Port and polish on heads

-Larger valves

-Reshaped combustion chambers to unshroud valves

-Heads milled for higher compression

-All metal cam timing gears

-K&N air filter

-Rising rate fuel pressure regulator

-Upgraded AC compressor

-Shortened intake trumpets in plenum

-Flow matched injectors

-Electric cooling fan with adjustable thermostatic switch

-Upgraded radiator

-Upgraded water pump

-Upgraded header tank

-Ceramic coated exhaust manifolds

-Stainless exhaust tuned to engine

-Catalytic converters eliminated with stainless Y pipe

-Powder coated pulleys, brackets, oil pan, valve covers, intake -manifold, air filter housing, etc.

-Nology coil and ignition amplifier

-Throttle body inlet smoothed

-Military spec brakes

-Mintex red brake pads

-Sony stereo head unit cd/ mp3

-ADS crossovers

-ADS amp 6 channel

-Rebuilt alternator

-New starter

-New power steering pump

-Rebuilt swivel joints

-14 speaker system

-New fuel tank and fuel pump/fuel level sender

-Bilstein shocks

-Defender Alloy five spoke Wheels

-New Distributor

and much more!

Now for the blemishs.

The Heater core needs to be replaced. I live in Los Angeles so I never got around to replacing it. The AC needs a hose repair. This happened recently and I probably won't get to fix it before the sale. Again, minor. The Custom stainless exhaust required the removal of the catalytic converter. Depending on where you will title the vehicle, this may need adjustment to be considered legal (but it sure helps give it punch!).

The interior is not pristine. The drivers seat has a minor tear (about three inches); can be repaired. The sunroof does not have fabric on the interior side. I have the new fabric ($88. from Rover) but have not installed it. One speaker is blown and needs to be replaced. The headlight switch has been replaced with a normal toggle. Burl trim is cracked, not horrible but not perfect either. Minor stains on carpet.

The roof rack and driving lights are not included but, I will be selling them as well if you would like to add them.

I am selling on the street as well so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.

Will consider personal delivery anywhere in North America with payment of fuel and travel expenses.

Please feel free to call with any questions concearning this vehicle- Todd 323-353-1034

In talking to my mechanic he told me (to my own shock) that I should make clear that to purchase and install the engine and components that I have in this Rangie all at once would cost $15,000 to $18,000 and that I should take it off Ebay and take my time finding the right buyer. I don't have that luxury right now but certainly hope that the buyers on Ebay recognize the research, time and expense that has gone into this timeless Range Rover Classic County Edition
Still looking for the right deal on another P-car
