a\c delete question

What are the options for removing the a\c compressor from my 944?

linsey racing sells an ac delete bracket for 150.

Lindsey and Paragon sell a bracket for $150 or so. What about a way to retain your original bracket and remove the a/c compressor.

you can get a shorter belt that goes strait from the alternator to the crank.. but you wont have a way to tighten it, and you will have to put it on like a bicycle chain (turning crank by hand whilst putting belt on) i ran it that way for about 6 months.

I believe Lindsey's is actually a Barefoot Racing AC Delete.
Pargons is what I'm running cause the Barefoot/Lindsey bracket was unavailable for some reason? Why would you remove the AC and not dump the extra weight and space of the old Bracket? All Deletes open things up nicely. Make sure they send you the short mount bolts too. (4x) Good Mod! Cutting out the old AC lines was kinda a pain thoe. Also Verify 5 rib belts and pulleys vs 6!
