DIY Paintless Dent Removal?
Mechanics leaning on my 968 front fenders have left small dimples across the tops of the fenders. You notice them in the right light. Are these fenders aluminum? Also, is this something I could smooth out myself from underneath the fender with the right shaped tool? I've done conventional body work but I just want to know if it's worth my time to try this? If they pop up easily, then I could do it I think. Otherwise, I'm a long ways from anyone who does paintless dent removal.

If you can fix it yourself, great. Have to get someone more knowledgeable on bodywork here to tell you if its an easy fix or not. If you do fix it yourself I would be sending your mechanic a bill for the labor. Then find a new mechanic.

BOY! I would have a fit if my mechanic ever dented my car. You must be a really nice person.

The PO's mechanic did it. I guarantee you that I'd be all over who did it if it was someone I knew. Apprarently the fenders are a bit "tender."
