Electrical Problem Fuse box
Here's an easy one.
I have a 1985/2 -944 which the head lights don't work. I lifted the central electric box up to look underneath it. The central electric box houses the fuses and relays. In the middle of the box a connection was loose. Last week I fooled around under the box and must have disturbed this connection. I can't seem to get this connector back in to its rightful spot. How do these connectors snap in?? What is the secret? Do I have to take the side holding bars off to get this connector back in? Thanks for the help.

There is a sliding latch bar along the middle of the fusebox. Apparently your connector popped off in spite of this bar. You would have to slide the bar to the release position to re-insert the connector without all the others coming out and then re-latch.

Disconnect the battery first.
