Thumbs up Installed MOMO wheel today

I bought myself a slightly used MOMO wheel quite awhile ago (Thanksgiving-ish?), but have been so busy with moving and getting the garage set up that I haven't really had a chance to install it.

Well, today I had a couple hours to kill before going over my dad's to watch the "big game" (not that I care much about the game), so I figured "why not?"

Installation was easy and quick. It took me a half hour, but only because on the first try I didn't get the wheel on perfectly straight Apparently this is a common thing to do around here (I've seen the same thing has happened to a few of you).

Anyhow, the wheel comes with a cover that is removable, so one can choose either a modern or a racy look on any given day:

I think I prefer how the wheel looks with the cover off.

Anyhow, it feels great to drive with; the wheel is a good inch smaller than my stock wheel (maybe even more), and has a nice, chunky feel to it. Also, after taking the stock wheel off, I think the MOMO must shed a good 2 or 3 pounds off the car's weight with the stock wheel couldn't hurt!

The black doesn't look fantastic with the brown interior and the tan seat covers, but I am planning on buying a pair of black Corbeau Forza seats a little down the road. Should bring the interior together nicely!

Here's my stock wheel, now proudly on display in the garage:

you will love the Momo. Both my 911 and 944 have a 350mm Momo Corse.

Whenever I instruct in a car with a stock steering wheel I wonder how somebody can drive with that big pig that belongs in a school bus.
