Hi. i have a late 85.5 944 euro its gold in color.
im getting ready to refinish it but im having trouble finding a color
code for it. also anyone have a # for lesinol or sherwin willaims
B/C anyone ever sprayed a tri color candy gold on these?
if so any clear pictures?

also any tips for removing the rubbeized rust/rock chip guarding strip
from the lower?

The rock guards (according to the Haynes manual) are easily removed with a heat gun. Check the manual for all details but it seems pretty straight forward. As for the painting....the paint stores should be able to look the number up for you, however I'm not sure about the euro models....that may be different. As for painting, I have some articles on how to paint, but I know that requires artistic talent....sorry can't help there.

to i could mix it myself in the mixing bank at the bodyshop i work at.
i cant find a rpo code tag anywhere on the car so i dont have anything
to type in for a color as there are many varients of gold
