when too much...
...is not enough
I spoke with someone today who said he was at a "dyno day" this past weekend and saw a black '44 with a turbocharged LT-1. 674 RWHP hmmm... He also saw a 240Z with a turbocharged (I think) 327 with 400 something RWHP. HEY I have a 240Z in my driveway that isn't doing anything !! ...hmmm...maybe?...hmmm...then again...hmmm...well?...hmmm...I dunno...hmmm...nah... WAKE ME UP !! OH MY !! WHAT WAS I THINKING !!

is the 240z a datsun?
*sigh* i think it was, but i'm not sure, a 280zx for 4500CDN on sale not too far from my house... a ton of new work, ton of records, and a fresh midnight blue paint job with a pearl clear over top.... damn... that's all i gotta say.. i almost traded him straight up for the '44... lol

One of my good friends is putting a twin turbo'd 350 sbc in a 240z... I have no idea what kind of power it will make. Way too much for his own good, it's safe to say
 I thought it was a fun car with the old straight 6, but it will be total madness with that kind of power.

I used to own a 1975 280Z. That was a very fun car. I also worked for a guy in 1991 who built V8 Z cars. He personally owned a 9 second 74 260. The car had a 383 stroker engine, 300 shot of Nitrous, TH400 Transmission, Ford 9" rear shortened (he toasted the IRS), 9" tire on the rear. That car was just evil!
