ilikemy944 02-04-2006 05:47 PM

LOL... not quite, but close enough for my uses :)

My little '51 shall have some fun this summer!

ae1969 02-04-2006 05:54 PM

It doesn't look too bad does it.

;)

I would add LS1's to that list as well...........

fierochris 02-04-2006 05:55 PM

i want a ride!
will i have to purchase some kind of permit first?
a waiver to sign? jk

NICE

ilikemy944 02-04-2006 06:08 PM

Hey alex - just shot ya an e-mail :)

A waiver... LOL
Just come to 944Fest - hopefully I'll have it in the car by then.
If so, free ride :)

seaboltman 02-04-2006 06:11 PM

thats going to give you some god aweful turbo lag

ilikemy944 02-04-2006 06:26 PM

Nah, I'm pretty sure it'll spool as soon as the stock turbo.
:)
I think the pic makes it look bigger than it is... The part you are looking at is actually sitting about 5 or 6" away from the wheel.

ilikemy944 02-04-2006 06:28 PM

Maybe this is a better representation of size.
I wish I still had the spare K26 to sit next to it though.

Full boost at 3-3100....... and pulling all the way to redline.

LEAVING any and all stock turbos WAYYYYY behind....

You should see what it does at +20psi..... (shivers)..... but if I were Uni-ball I would stay at 15 psi....

ilikemy944 02-04-2006 07:14 PM

I'm probably going to run it at 12psi or so until I do the rebuild.
Afterwards, I'm going to aim for lots of boost, but with water injection.

I guess I'm going to see what other goodies I can accumulate for next winter's project.

seaboltman 02-04-2006 09:43 PM

I cant wait to get my turbo engine, im going to build and boost the ever loving hell out of it. Have fun my man

kcryan 02-04-2006 09:48 PM

speedracing944 02-05-2006 04:02 AM

Brad,
If I get the LT-1 done i would be willing to play a little cat and mouse and then I want a ride in your car.

Speedy:)

speedracing944 02-05-2006 04:04 AM

My friend just moved to Maryville last week so we can have a place to stay at next time we meet up at the Tail.

ilikemy944 02-05-2006 06:21 AM

Cool! I can't wait to go back :)

Cory9584 02-05-2006 12:05 PM

what turbo is that?

Zero10 02-06-2006 08:06 AM

Pretty sure a nicely built LS-1 would leave it behind ;)
However, that is very nice. Much bigger than my K26/6 :(

patrat 02-07-2006 04:32 PM

all things being equal, it should be equivalent to a 5.0L once it reaches 14PSI.
