Service Manual Needed
Anyone able to help me with locating a factory service manual for an 84 944. I want to pull the head and do a few other things. Thanks
Steve 91 C4 Targa 98 M3 89 535 84 944 / totally tricked out suspension, supercharger sitting in box, wanting to do a new head gasket, t-belt, injectors prior to installation. |

Clark's Garage (www.clarks-garage.com) has a procedure for pulling the head in the shop manual section. You'll find it invaluable for doing the common maintenance tasks on a 944. It's as good or better than Haynes, and free.
Aside from that, you can get ahold of a Panorama and find someone who sells the shop manuals on CD in the classified. Nice looking 944. |

Depending on your abilities, there is always the Haynes manuals from any auto parts store. They only show the basics though.

I'm not looking for copies, I just want to buy a set of factory manuals if someone has one. I have had the car for 23 years and it is time to do a few things, I just want to do it right, to include buying additional parts from Pelican. I just put $3600 into the suspension including shocks, springs, ball joints, big brakes, wheels and tires.
