Lindsey racing fuel lines

ok so i just got my fuel lines from lindsey racing, got injector gasket kits too, i ordered a dme temp sensor from them but sadly it did not come, i called and left a message, ill see what happens tomorrow..

ANYWAYS..

ive been lookin at these puppies and cant figure out how the hell im supposed to go about installing them, i know the stock lines will come out kinda easy (need to find a wrench that can squeeze in there) but there are like 8 different fittings that came with this i have no idea what goes where

does anyone have these lines and can offer some helpful info?? i looked all over their site and searched this forum but cant find anything.

also : greasing up injectors on reinstallation, what should i use to lube them up? i cant remember who it was, they recommended that i dip the ends into transmission fluid.

thanks guys

I was looking into those lines too, Looks like a big PITA to install, if your lines run to the p/s fender then you gotta remove the fender and cut/flare the lines and install the fittings. The guys at huntley are very helpful, Im sure if you drop a e-mail they can hook you up

if its for your early car in your sig, im not sure if they will fit the same or not. i just installed mine, and like fast924s said, you just remove the skirt out of passenger side fender, cut lines, and compression fittings tie right in.. but on early cars, i think your lines are routed over by the driver side and it may be a little tricky, i know someone over on rennlist was having problems finding new lines for his early car for the same reason

The 84's should have the fuel lines coming up the firewall.

85'5's have the plastic liners in the front fenders.

I got the same kit for my 86 and it was pretty easy to install. Don't forget to tie wrap the vacuum lines because those lines will chew up anything they touch.

Post a link that describes these lines in detail. Most after market fuel lines have swedge fittings for the steel fuel lines. Should have the correct metric for the fuel regulator and the damper.

The two fittings in the bottom center are swedge fittings. You use the tubing cutter to remove the stock ends on the steel fuel lines and attach these fittings. It's very important to leave a bit of slack in these lines AND tie them together. I've seen unbound fuel lines vibrate the damper off of the rail.

grim news

"Omid,

The lines we sold you are for cars where the lines come through the
shock tower/fender. Those are not going to work for you. Feel free
to return them for a full refund. "

[Edit: nvm this part]

so turns out the 1 of 3 things sent dont fit. (fuel lines)
1 of 3 does fit... sorta. (injector gaskets)
1 of 3 is on its way and hopefully no problems with it. (dme temp sensor)

im pretty dissapointed. not at lindsey racing just because having my car running is now delayed.... AGAIN
