Hi, I think I have I trouble with my waterpump on my 944 N/A 86.
First of all, I can't see the level of cooling on the tank between Max and Min so the level should be very low. I will buy tomorrow some prestone for fulling the tank. But I think this will not change the situation... The situation is: When I start my engine, everything is okay, no strange sound, nothing, BUT after some minutes I hear a sound like "Twick twick twict twick, from the driver side. Could this can be a problem from a belts (less tension = make this strange sound) or this can only come from the waterpump? Thanks Simon-Pierre

A bad water pump will make a rough grinding noise. All the time. You can take off the top belt cover, reach down and wiggle the water pump pulley up and down when it's bad.
I think you have a belt problem. Could be to loose or too tight or missing a tooth. It's a time bomb.
