Inside a DME relay...

Anyone have any pictures of how the DME relay looks without the plastic cover?

supplemental question, does the inside typically smell like sulfer?

Who's got the cheapest price on Relays?

Thanks!!

no pictures, but mine doesn't smell like sulfur. is it burnt?

I saw a few pics on Clark's Garage so I have a general idea now.

It's not burnt anywhere that I can see. Looks to be fine but I'm going to need a backup. Anyone know where I can get a new relay for dirt cheap?

$35 from the dealer here in slc.

$25 here, free shipping too. Any one much cheaper than will be old and liable to fail anytime. Why not go new for that price?

Yeah, you definitely want new for reliability. Shipping is only free though if the order is over $75. I would just call the Porsche dealer and then check online and see what the differences in cost were. I think that someone said that some NAPA dealers have them as well, but I haven't ever checked.
