cupholders anyone?

Hey everyone,

I'm not sure about everyone else but i'd like a cupholder or two in my 44. Even though the car handles as if on rails and turning hard corners with a coke in a cupholder probably isnt a great idea but just wondering i anyone has any installed. I had to a few times drive with a big gulp in between my legs shifting gears and stuff so the cupholder really coulda came into good use there. Some pics would be great.

Does anybody make cupholders for the 944? or is it just find one and screw it on somewhere?

Thanks a lot!

I actually just came across one in my basement... used to belong to the grandparents... it clips onto the door into the window slot, and gives you a "hanging" cup holder on the door... pretty sturdy too.

before that, the area between me and the center console dubbed as my cup holder.. bottles, cans, whatever.. fit in there quite snugly.

I just buy a bottle, but I did have an aftermarket one in my BMW. It folded up and screws into the side console. It works really well, if you want to put holes in your car.

I got this at Target. It clips on very easily into the center vents. A good match with either the brushed aluminum or carbon fiber type trim.

I got this cupholder actually it is 2 cup unit all plastic black at Walmart that slips between the passenger seat and the consol. If I have a passenger I take it out otherwise it works great. Sorry no pics. It wedges tight and doesn't scratch the seat so I am happy $7 well spent... Takes about 3 seconds to install/remove. AND doesn't move no matter how hard I corner.

Regards
Graham

Yeah but you have a Turbo so you spend less time commuting. I have a lowly NA engine, so I spend loads more time in the car... I would fall asleep without the coffee

I'm with fmalgapo. Why is does the shifter have an erection?

I have cup holders in my glove box but my 944 is a late model. Except I can't use them because there's nothing holding the glove box up at the half way point.
I'm assuming there used to be a string or something.

I did the glove box repair thing too about 2 weeks ago. It's easy to assemble. It was a pain for me to line everything up though...

Cup holder? That's what passengers are for... Why else do they have two hands?

Dual-purpose, also a ballast to balance the L-R weight distribution.
