Front NA sway bar vs. Front Turbo Sway bars

What would the major difference be between an NA sway bar and Turco sway bar. Does it bolt right in is there any mod needed to replace an NA sway bar with a turbo sway bar. Would replacing an na sway bar with a turbo sway be a noticeable improvment.

Well you will want to replace both the front and rear at the same time, otherwise your front bar will be huge and the rear will not match..making your car understeer badly.

The biggest front sway your car will have is 23mm (if you have M404 option). Otherwise its probably a 20mm front. The smallest turbo bar is 24mm ('86 model 951).

It should bolt right in assuming you have the right bushings. However, you MIGHT need to change the two front bushing clamps, ive heard of this being required on some cars..but i went from a 21.5mm on my '87 944 and didnt need to change anything when going to a 24mm bar.

Same here. I went from a 20mm front bar to a 24mm Turbo bar from an 86 951. I used the same clamps, but I bought all new matching bushings.
I did the same in the rear. From no bar to 18mm, all new bushings.

Nice improvement!
