rocker panels

All right i know that its sacraligeous to add anything rice-like to a porshe (which god created in his own image), but my car has had the crap beat out of the origional rocker panels and a true fix is looking really expensive (the lower part of the driver side rear fender by the door is also banged in a bit by the PO). After feeling a bit sorry about this, I realized that aftermarket rockers would cover the damage and (in this case) enhance the look of the car.

I was curious to know if people had any idea where to get some good looking ones from and had any experience with them.

Thanks

I have the bottoms smashed to hell from jackasses trying to fit jacks underneath the car without checking for clearance, Sometimes you dont have a choice in the matter. I scored some off ebay but havent had a chance to fit them but yeah they will cover the dents nicely.

I had the same problem chitown- the FIRST DAY I bought my 924S.. I took it to a local shop for inspection/tags immediately after purchase and they dent the bottom lip with jacks. I was pissed.

I guess it pays to take your car to a shop that knows Porsches. But then again.... its not like knowing how to jack up a car is something onl Porsche shops should know how to do.

Not even a Porsche shop will always get this right. They dented my mom's S2.
