Testing Hatch Motor?
 

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to test my rear hatch motor. Obviously when I press the switch, there is nothing happening with the motor. All connectors and the cable attachment is fine. I'm just not sure if it is in the switch or the motor. I've taken the motor out and have a 12v tester to put power to it, I just need to know which wires are supposed to get the power to them.

Test the wires, not the motor. If the wires have power, then the motor is the problem. If there is no power start working your way back.
