BBS wheels
I'm trying to figure out how much my wheels weigh. They're 15" BBS wheels and I think they're 7" wide. I'm running a 225 width tires. I think they're the Mhale style, with like the spider web or wires in the center. I can't figure out how to put a pic up. I want to get another set of wheels. Maybe some 16x9 Fuchs or something for autoX. Any idea on the widest 15" Fuchs I can get or some other light weight wheels?

No one knows how much the diffrent sizes of Fuchs wheels weigh?
I figured asking about the BBS's were a long shot.

Fuchs are among the strongest, lightest wheels ever. Always a good choice.
While 944s look great with a 255 or 275 tire in the rear, putting that much rubber on one end of the car diminishes the great handling that they're known for. Way too much understeer. Go check out the top early NA 944 autocrossers, and you'll usually find 225 both front and rear. Almost always the same tire all the way around. They handle best, and are most fun to drive that way. |

Fuchs wheels are by far the lightest available in 15" and 16" (go any larger and Fikses would be the lightweight choice). I am not sure of the weight, but they are quite a bit lighter than cookie cutters, which are pretty light to begin with.

Cool. I'd need a set of 7" wheels?
I'm running 225s now on all corners but they're Bridgestone G009s. About the best all season tires I have ever used but not the best autoX tire.

I have 225 RA'1s mounted on 6'es. Im not really happy about it but they do fit and seem fine although the real test will be the first autoX this weekend.

Why would I want to stagger the wheels width but run the same tire? All that'll be doing it losing a little bit of contact patch in the front.
If I get my house, this summer I hope to start building a 3 liter moster. So maybe I'll just wait a year and get the 295s it'll take to put the power down.
