O2 sensor location

ok, i am tired of looking through the PET and the workshop manual for this. i even tried clarks-garage. i know i can just trace the wires back...

where does the O2 sensor on my car live?

TIA

p.s.: and any hints on how to get to it and get it out are appreciated.

Circular Big Three pin plug Center of Firwall in clip (about thumb size). Pull apart (Un-connect) go to Sensor in the Exhaust pipe Before CAT after the 4-1 pipe. You need to jack car to reach. Easy pull out with a large open ended Wrech. Screws out like light bulb. Only wire going to Exhaust.

i have all this extra piping between the 4-1 pipe and the cat, such as a cross over pipe and turbo....

Should Look simlar to this. Your turbo will have extra pipe after 4-1. I believe on the Turbo the Plug should still be near it.

looks completely different.

then I dont think it's stock, and I'd suggest following wires..

bollocks...

Its on your exhaust before your Cat.

I suggest a wrench to get it out.http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/paddel.gif

yep, stock, but still looks nothing like the picture posted. O2 sensor lives on the drivers side of the cross over pipe, way up against the turbo.

to my untrained eye, the old sensor looks pretty bad.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1147118839.jpg
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1147118853.jpg
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1147118880.jpg
yep, a 7/8" wrench works like a champ.
