86 944 turbo bal & t-belt marks
a friend of mine is doing the timing belt & bal shaft belt. for some reason he is having a hard time locating the marks to line up the pulleys. i have not done any work on watercooled porsches, so i am of no help.if anyone has any pics that i could send to him that would be much appreciated.

The bal shaft marks are on the rear timing cover and the corresponding notches are on the balance sprockets' rear flanges. For the t-belt, there's a line punched on the outer lip of the cam sprocket itself that's easy to see, and the corresponding mark is on the inner aluminum cam cover. IIRC correctly. Do a search - this comes up here alot. Specifically, search SoCal's posts - he always posts a good pic. Or try www.clarks-garage.com
