used rebuildable parts
I have a brand new starter remanufactured less than 2 years ago (cracked solenoid). I also have a water pump that was in the car for 40,000Km. What do i do with this stuff?
I see "core" charges on starters and water pumps is it possible to sell these back to a remanufacturing company without buying replacements. |

Is the water pump the "updated" model?

If it is an "updated" pump, there will be two posts that protrude from the front of the pump with threaded sections at the top of each post. It is on these posts that a divider bar mounts to prevent the timing belt from slapping itself if the tension drops too far out of whack.
Thanks, Nick
