Engine rebuild book?

Is there any kind of book published or web site that explains step by step how to rebuild a 944 NA 2.5L 8 valve engine? Ive rebuilt 350 chevy engines and I know what needs to be done to those, but I need to know if there are any strang things that need to be done to the 944 engine. Does the block need to be decked?, does the engine need to be line bored?, can the head be decked?. Ive never payed to much attention to it cause I didnt think I would rebuild a 944 engine, but Ive read you all talking about some special kind of cylinder wall honing, and I also need to know all the tolerances like the max the head can be decked, and so forth. I think you get the picture what Im looking for. Does it exist? Thanks for any info.

Factory manual does a decent job as long as you have prior mechanical experiance.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?
