New PICS!! Bumper Pad Delete, Euro Skirts & Turbo Valance

Finally had a chance to take some pics of some mods that I have done. Did the bumper pad delete. Fixed the front valance had 5 huge cracks in it. Thanks to JB Weld and some 3M product & other substrates shes presentable again. I had bought the Rear Turbo Valance off of a fellow P-Car owner...thanks Capt. Squid. I had also bought the Euro Side Skirts off a fellow named Stuart in the UK off of Ebay which requires some trimming. I also had the whole front painted...Front Valance, Bumper, Nose Panel, Headlight Covers, Front Fenders & Hood. Which look awesome only now you can notice whats not painted so I'll have to paint the rest of the car. anyways I'll attempt to post pics since I've never done before. Oh Yeah and a new Hood Crest to compliment the new paint which was purchased here on pelican.

i'll never understand the pictures taken of cars from the corner.. it's the absolute worst angle to show off any attributes as it doesn't give a great representation of the car...

other than that, looks half decent.

Yes after removing the pads you have to grint down some posts that hold the pads in place. Some people tig weld the holes. I used filler and JB Weld. Yes front was repainted.

Bulachip mine was literally held in place by staples so it was pretty banged up. If I can fix mine you can fix yours.

Hi Chitown. I like the look of the rear tires on your car and how well they fill out the wheel wells. I also have a 1985.5 944 with phone dials and was wondering if you could tell me what size wheel spacers you have on yours and what size rear tire that they allowed you to run. Thanks

BARHOPPER,

I have 2" spacers in the rear and 1.25" upfront If I had to do over again I'd go with 1" upfront and 1.75" in the rear. The rears still hit the wheel wells on sharo turns and the front every so often. The rear fenders I did curl in but still hit. Maybe going with .75 upfront and 1.5 in the rear would eliviate any hitting upfront or rear. BTW my cookies are 15" x 7" all around hope that helps.
