Adjustable camber plates and strut brace
I'm installing adjustable camber plates on my car so I can set more negative camber when racing but I also have a strut tower brace that I had on my car before I decided to make this change. Now that I no longer have the rubber upper strut mounts, is a strut brace going to make any difference in stiffening the front end and keeping things where they belong during hard cornering?

The strut brace should do the same job as it was doing before. The upper strut mount is a rubber peice that is bolted to the same holes that the strut mount attaches to, so the strut mount essentially keeps the towers where they are supposed to be relative to eachother. The rubber mount bolts into said tower and is unaffected by the brace. The only tricky spot you might have is adjusting camber depending on the style of strut brace you have.
The effect of the brace is still debateable but it sure looks cool (I have a KLA brace and ground control plates). Justin

it's a KLA brace and I think adjusting the camber will be easy enough but I have no plans of touching the caster bolts because they are a PITA. Thanks.
