Porsche Crest head gasket installation

Hello Everyone,
I have an 84 944 that needs a haed gasket change. Im gonna do it myself SO, im wondering if anyone knows where i can find a website maybe that goes step by step on changing the head gasket and gives the torque specs on everything. Also how do you find top dead center on piston 1 i think this is part of the process. i know you have to spin the crank but how do you know when its there? Also do i need a whole head gasket kit such as the one by victor reinz? or if i purchased a custom head gasket by lindsey racing is thats all i need. I want the best head gasket there is for my car so it lasts. Lindseyracings gasket is called the cometic and its stainless steel and has extra holes for better cooling but comes in 2 sizes for my car a 100mm bore or a 104-105mm bore, im assuming its the 100mm bore bc my engine is an earlier 84 2.5liter. I greatly apreciate anyone that took the time to read this and answer questions!!!!

Don't get the cometic for your NA.

A head gasket set will contain all you need. You could do your oil cooler seals as well since they are a pain to get at.

Optional
- rollers, belts, waterpump, front seals etc....
