Consistent fuel problem

For about a year my 78 924 has had a problem after running for a while- It starts and runs fine cold, but after 20 minutes or so it begins to run like it's dropping cylinders, and finally it just won't continue to run. For a long while I figured it was an ignition problem, but lately I am interpreting it as starved for fuel. I can't think of any heat-related issues that would cause this problem- any ideas? The fuel pump itself is about 2 1/2 years old, or about 3000 miles. Same with the fuel filter. Thanks!

Okay, so it's the warm-up regulator. Next question: Why does mine only have one fuel line going to it? The other appears to have had a vacuum hose attached to it by the previous owner, which doesn't look to be how it's suppposed to work. Can someone tell me where the fuel lines are routed to/from so I can try to troubleshoot it?
Thanks.
