trunk dimensions i am building my own subwoofer enclosure. My car is out of town, we are in the process of moving, so i need the dimensions of the trunk area. i.e. the length in between the "humps" behind the seat, the height from floor to the top of the rear seats, and the length of the trunk in front of the "humps" |

Dude: I made 1.5 cubic ft enclosures each w/ a Polk 6X9 woofer that fit in the stock areas behind the wheel wells in my 84. The stock back carpet covers them and they actually sound decent w/o filling up the car. I also took the side panels off and used an air nibbler to enlarge the holes to use 6X8 Polk coaxes then I already had ADS 300i plates in the doors. I shimmed the passenger seat up 3/4" and stuck a 75 X 4 SONY amp in w/ 2 channels running the woofers and 2 channels running the mids - highs. Nothing is visible. Steve |

Well the reason is probably that we dont care. You could just do a search and come up with lots of results, or you know you could just wait and do it yourself. |

As a newbie you are required to add "Ajajajajjajajajajajaja' to the end of all your posts. add this and I am sure you will quickly get an answer. |

First of all, most people work during the day, which means we can't just walk to the car and measure. A lot of us are posting in a 5-15 minute break time if we post during the day. This means it's easy to forget things by evening when we get back to the car. A lot of us who post in the evening are tired from the day and really have other things to do than measure the cargo area of our cars for someone. Things like spending time with family. If you're going to get pissy just because your question didn't get answered in one 10 hours, you're going to get some push back on it. The simple fact is that by coming in here and cursing at everyone for not dropping everything in our lives and helping you have essentially guaranteed that you will not receive help in the future. You'll catch more flies with honey and all that tripe. |

Frankly, I was all ready to measure for you and then had a look again at this thread. Sorry, mate, somehow I'm just not in the mood anymore. But good luck with your project. |

Interesting that you are doing so. I just took out my dual 12" box for weight. It fits flush to the low side of the glass. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...52906_1319.jpg I already had dimensions, including how to fix your box to be exactly 1.5 cu ft (mine was within .001) for optinum sound. BUT Seems like you owe some an apology  |
