Removing Heater Shield in Engine Bay
Having some troubles with my heater still after I replaced the linkage by the pedals. According to Clarks I should look at the Control Valve next. However, There is a piece of plastic covering the heater box. Is it glued on? I can't figure out how to take it off. Figured it is something stupid that Im not seeing. Thanks!

Are you referring to the hot water control valve? If so, it isn't under that shield, it is slightly more forward just in front of the firewall on the back of the motor. It will have a vacuum line attached along with a water hose on each side.

I don't have any but hopefully someone else will. My advice...be careful...new ones are 70 dollars! Been a while since I took mine off, but I am pretty sure they are glued on.
