my car is made out of tin foil
I've come to the conclusion that 944's are made out of tin foil. Tin foil i say! My car has been in 2 accidents, both of which i wasnt involved, as my car lie, sitting in gear, turned off, in my driveway. A month ago my mother inched too close and dinged up my left fender pretty good. Fair amount of paint and denting.. Just now, my sister, who said she was just idling back in her suv, forgot where i was parked and just barely nudged my car. By just touching it she ended up slamming my door, knocking the handle out a bit and making it impossible to open, not to mention nasty dents and scratches. But asthetics are the least of my worries. Its not like my car is in mint condition anyway. Id rather have a mechanically sound car, than just a nice looking one. Apparently now i have a banged up car with many mechanical problems. Another great day. And its my first day back at school, and i work in an hr. Maybe this is a chance to carpool with a lady friend.

Sorry to hear you are having such a bad day....hopefully tomorrow will be better for you. You think these cars are fragile...try shutting the door on a Honda or any other Asian car. You can easily hear the difference.

My 944 is made of fresh, new hundred-dollar bills. Laid end to end in layers and then carefully plastered down with blood, sweat and tears...

Haha. I know right. My mom hits my car one week, my sis hits it another. And i park in a tiny corner of the driveway all alone by myself, allowing anyone to pass by and squeeze in. I wish some old lady would hit me and pay for everything with her insurance. Its not like i can go after family......or can i!!!! haha...no no.. Her toyota has a couple tiny scratches, the same with the suv...mine has huge dents. Im never gonna be able to sell my car. I guess she's gonna be mine until i kill her.

If it makes you feel any better, Pelican's very own MikeCT is dating a girl whose car gets hit all the time by all sorts of people - family, strangers, whatever, it doesn't matter. Her car gets hit all the time (blue Ford Escort).
So, one night, in my Olds, I hit it on purpose. I felt left out.

My 82 931 has now been hit 3 times while parked... once by my best friend (backed into it with his truck from across the street, the hitch took out the entire nose panel, still looks like ass), once by one of my mothers-in-law (backed into the driver's door with her minivan while parked on the street), and once by the other in-laws' neighbor (backed into with their Vulvo XC90 while, you guessed it, parked in the street). Doesn't help that the car is low and the color of concrete (dull Plat Silver Metallic). Doesn't help that everyone else drives SUVs and pickups...
