Boxster Roof Leak Problem

O.K. fellas one way or the other this convert is gonna kill me!! Got through the broken top transmission issue a few months ago, now i have a top leak. I took it to a dealer (3 hours away) and supposedly they fixed it yeah right.

She is a 1998 Boxster with 27,000 miles!
So now this is my problem, when it rains it pours......into the areas behind the seats. I've checked the little plastic umbrella valve plunger things and they are gone, and the holes appear to drain fine. I've also looked for tears in the molded drip tray where the hole is and it looks fine as well.

ANY IDEAS???

Thanks,
Doc

My first idea would be to ask the Boxster forum.

Us 944 guys don't know so much about dem newfangled Porsh's.

(If it was a 944, I'd say check your drain lines. Do Boxsters have drain lines?)

You'll probably have better luck posting this on the most specific boards. this is the 924/944/968 board, and your chances of finding owners with similar problems as your own are significantly diminished as a result.

Good luck and stay out of the rain!

Could you try testing with a garden hose and try to determine exactly where water is getting into the car?
