Freeze 12?
Anyone ever used Freeze 12 in a 944? Good? Bad?

Do a search, you will find many many posts on it. I think most use Duracool or the regular R12 but there are some that have used it and reported back good results. I don't remember any negatives, but you should check that to be sure. There are also many just converting to the R134. View the post by Schizachaser on his car and he'll talk about the conversion if you are interested in the conversion. There are some other posts on the conversion process as well.

As I know, Freeze-12 is a refrigerant mixture of R-12 + R-134A. I've used Freeze-12 on most cars without any problem, nor mayor changes, just adding few ounces of synthetic oil into the system. It works almost the same as R-12, but with a little more high temperature and pressure than R-12. My experience with it is not bad... But I should say, if I could get R-12, to an OEM R-12 system, I recommend it; as a technician, and as a client.
