Relays
Ok I was just outlooking at the relays and discovered something:
In the 924s factory manual it says that one of the relays I have is "not connected", but there is a relay there that I have no idea what it's for. If your looking at that area under the steering column the 1-15 fuse panel is on the bottom, the relays are in the middle, and the 1-8 fuse panel is on the top, then it is on the top column 2nd from the right. Hope its a good description. I'm just wondering could this be the power window relay? I think mine needs replace but can't find it and the manual says nothing of a relay.

Usually it's the window switches that need to be cleaned or replaced. The window relay is above the gas pedal behind the dash. #944-615-116-00-M76

Well the driver side switch for the driver side window works fine and has worked fine-no problems. Passenger side window switch didn't work until tonight-found out that the PO must have had the connectors in the inside of the switch backwards-was a problem not anymore. While inspecting the switches found that the drivers side switch for passenger window is broken inside, therefore I need a new switch. Now problem-I thought. So to check that the passenger side switch worked, I switched the two switches on the drivers side(because the power needs to go through that switch to go to the passenger side) and thats how I found out the passenger side window switch worked. So then I tried using the drivers side switch for passenger window and that didn't work. What the problem is, is that the drivers side switch for passenger window is the only switch that doesn't work. The windows haven't worked right since I had the car(1 1/2 years), and I'm sick of these stupid switches! Please help!
Thanks SoCal, Jon P.S. Still does anyone know what that relay is for?

Another source has the 944 116 103 00 listed for 85.5 through 88 and it is located under the hood in the relay/fuse box. 944 116 103 00 is also listed for the early 944's and the later 924S's which is under the dash above the gas pedal. Same relay, different locations.

Must be a ROW car just as the early 924 was made for a few years after it was removed from the US market.

Replace the switches and if you are not sure replace the relay.

Well I found the window relay, but the part # for it is 321 919 505, is this the right relay, well anyway, the windows don't work without it started the car without it and everything else worked but the windows. Could the relay have a different part # since its for the 924s? Any way to check?
